RooMatch is a service idea for low cost hospitality in the urban context. It can be thought as a “distributed hostel”. It is a chain of rooms to rent for short periods in private apartments, that is administrated by cafes close to the main university campus.
The project was firstly developed for the city of Milan in order to answer to the systemic need of low cost hospitality for incoming students.
It is a low cost hosteling that grantees good quality for the guest by the encounter with local hosts and the security of a single promoter. It is also a way for local students to meet people from different countries and culture as well as earn some money.
