The service aims at improving the quality of life in social housing context by involving the tenants of the same building in collaborative ad sharing activities. Specifically it defines two sets of tools, one for the local Municipality and the other for the tenants community, in order to implement and manage the service.
+ Vicini is a project developed for Pioltello Municipality in Lombardy region, Italy.
Seeds was engaged for almost one year, carrying out 3 months on-field research and defining the front and back office of the service. For the research phase we were working in a wider team involving people from the district services’ center managed by Pioltello Municipality and some of the most active people in the building.
The project is particulary interesting because it shows a new approach of public administration in solving social issues though participation and co-design.
